![]() ![]() When Vanilla Diablo III launched in back in 2012 there was a monster damage scaling per player. This has not always been the case however: The monster's damage output stays exactly the same, while the players toughness only goes up by skills like Ignore Pain or Inner Sanctuary. On top of that you gain the Strength in Numbers buff in group play. Plus for some of those digital ones you have to be connected to wifi to make sure you're not playing it on another switch device at same time. The base health of monsters is lower to begin with in Greater Rifts, but scales up faster per additional player that joins the group.Īs you can see by this group scaling it is always more efficient these day to play in a group, as the benefit of having party members far outweighs the monsters power gain. The digital version is occasionally on sale for $30 but I don't want a digital game taking up all my space. There is no way I'm spending more than $30 for diablo 3. Just like them, we were all waiting til black friend to see if the game would go back down to $30 like it did two black fridays ago. This isn't the only thread of this I've seen. Apparently everyone who wanted it didn't buy it yet or there would not be threads about this asking where the game is in store. Why would they stop printing something that sells? Like I said the only real reason they stop printing of this is because they are planning on releasing another Diablo and they don't want people to keep purchasing the older game. If the game is selling well, typically they keep it in print. Unlike something like Mario and Rabbids that is $15 compared to it's original retail price. And the fact that it hasn't gone below $45 retail does show it has been selling. Not really a "smaller print run" that is pretty long but it should have been printed the entired consoles lifespan like almost every other switch game. The game has been out since 2018 and has been pretty much on shelves since. Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread ![]()
